Melting Point

Monument to a Gradual Farewell

In Switzerland, 900 glaciers have already disappeared, while 1,200 still exist. As they vanish, not only does the landscape change, but so does our relationship to them. «Melting Point» is a final tribute to the lost glaciers, positioned between documentation, remembrance, climate critique and solastalgia. Glass monuments accompany a magazine. The latter was carried to a mountain hut – back to the origins – where it remains for hikers as a reminder of this farewell.
