Tressless

Reframing Hair Loss

Thick, full hair stands for attractiveness, while hair loss is associated with a loss of beauty and vitality. «Tressless» ignores these negative attributions and explores instead how beauty ideals change and whether we as designers can help shape this process. This project discovers the aesthetic potential of hair loss and develops a visual language of desire. Through this fresh perspective, hair loss becomes an expression of individuality with new spheres of resonance, turning a taboo into a trend.
