Kanza x Railway
Sampling Train Seats
Using remnants of seat covers from the inventory of the Swiss Federal Railway (SBB), this clothing collection changes the context and biography of these textiles. It employs graffiti, stickers and tags, which we know as tools of appropriation and communication in public spaces such as trains. Through sampling, these tagged seat covers get a new lease of life as street- and workwear as part of my label Kanza.
