Multiple Access – Ein Konzept für offene Ausstellungskommunikation
We all look at art differently, based on individual backgrounds, needs, interests, expectations and levels of attention. The project «Multiple Access» is based on the assumption that access to the content of artworks does not require prior knowledge of art, as is often the case in the institutional art world. Accessibility results from the content of the works themselves, and from the ability to freely choose from a range of approaches. Thus, each person can decide for themselves whether and how they would like to obtain information about the work they are looking at, and what kind of information it should be. «Multiple Access» applies this concept to various works of young artists by way of example.
