Regrowth
A Hopeful Dystopia
In the Capitalocene, economic growth has created a culture of constant consumption. «Regrowth» explores the Degrowth concept which advocates reduced consumption and a process of unlearning. Using a fashion editorial aesthetic, this video installation navigates the spectrum between hope and dystopia, translating the theoretical discourse into optimism: «Degrowth is Regrowth».
