Eight new projects to boost visibility and networking
In the second Outreach Call, the Digitalization Intitiative of the Zurich Higher Education Institutions (DIZH) is funding a total of eight projects that make digital innovations visible and bring research findings into schools, the public and practice. Several of the selected projects build on previous DIZH funding instruments. Their aim now is to open up to new target groups and to promote knowledge transfer between universities and society. The topics range from AI literacy and writing support, historical pandemics, language technologies and podcasts, to trustworthy AI and the dialogue between academia, politics and public administration.
Two ZHdK projects of the Institute of Design Research were approved, namely Designing Podcasts – Transfer, Training, Tools and Training writing motor skills through play: Implementation of a serious game to support writing difficulties.
