Jessica Baumgartner wins the ADC Switzerland «Student of the Year» award with her diploma project «Spitfire - Raging Together».
ADC Switzerland annually rewards outstanding communication in order to set the standard for the industry. In addition to bronze, silver and gold cubes and the grand prix, the ADC presents the «Student of the Year» award. This year, the award goes to Jessica Baumgartner for her diploma project «Spitfire – Raging Together» in the BA Major Cast / Audiovisual Media.
«Spitfire – Raging Together» is a documentary providing an immersive look into the vibrant hardcore scene. Highlighting three women’s voices, it explores the scene’s appeal as a home and safe space despite its intensity. The film delves into the women’s experiences, offering a poignant narrative on empowerment, solidarity and the challenges of navigating a male-dominated space.
