Now - Conversations about Identities
The public lecture series «Now - Conversations about Identities», organised by the major in Trends & Identity, enters its next round. The three talks will focus on the theme of «Community» and will feature exciting guests from the world of design, art and film.
Whether it's a football club or a fan club, a housing cooperative or a neighborhood association, a political party or an NGO, a church choir or a yoga class—organizing in groups shapes every aspect of our society. Through associations, collectives, or cooperatives, we come together to form communities, becoming part of collective identities. In doing so, we also shape our own identities. Belonging always involves distinction—at least for the moment—because identities are fluid and constantly evolving. We can be an ultra, a guild member, and a yogi all at once. In the «Now» Talks, we discuss these simultaneities and the various forms of communities.
