Can Design make the world a better place? It must.
The Design education at ZHdK builds on a vivid exchange between disciplines. It encourages to envision wishful futures and imparts state-of-the-art research practices that contribute to planetary well-being. Fearlessness, urgency and a strong will to engage with the world and pressing issues of our times characterise graduates from the Department of Design.
Together with the Swiss magazine Wohnrevue, the Department of Design has launched the special edition «Design is the Future». Young talents, faculty members, graduate students, and employees of the Department of Design develop responsible and tangible visions of the future and share insights into their critical thinking and into their design processes.
Starting now, photo collages of chosen graduate projects featured in the magazine will be presented in illuminated poster boxes at Milchbuck.
