REFRESH X Fantoche 2025
The fourth edition of the interdisciplinary exhibition REFRESH X Fantoche at the interface of art, design and technology takes place 3 - 7 September 2025.
The international group exhibition REFRESH X Fantoche featuring games, video works and interactive installations runs under the title «24/7 – Hard Work» and is dealing with the topic of work in the post-digital age. How do our work settings change in the face of our everyday life’s increasing permeation with technology and what are the consequences for us as human beings? From a critical perspective, the participating artists and designers examine the societal implications of a concept of work that is driven by efficiency, competition and profit - a circumstance intensified by the continuous digitalisation and automation of professional fields.
As part of the exhibition, a panel on the topic «Artistic Practice in the Post-Digital Age» will take place on 6 September.
REFRESH X Fantoche is a cooperation of the Department of Design and the Immersive Arts Space of the Zurich University of the Arts with the International Animation Film Festival Fantoche.
