Vibe Coding – Goran Saric and Students of the Subject Area Game Design in Conversation with SRF Einstein

Television Report

Does «Vibe Coding» mean that everyone can programme games now? Will artificial intelligence fundamentally change programming classes in Game Design? «No!» – Goran Saric, Head of the BA Major Game Design, and students of the subject area agree.

Video games with originality and a life of their own can only be developed with well-founded programming skills. «Programming is a creative process,» Goran Saric tells SRF Einstein.

Students and Lecturers often miss a nuanced view of «Vibe Coding» in public debates. The creative potential and the recognition of the craft of programming are seldomly talked about – unlike in the subject area Game Design at ZHdK.
