The Visual Plurality of Women’s Football Fan Culture on Instagram

The lack of tradition in women’s football opens up scope for a new visual fan culture. This thesis analyses self-produced and externally produced Instagram images to categorise the plurality of identities. The results form the basis for the development of a lifestyle brand in women’s football.
