Asking for Help
A Bottom-up Based Solution for Loneliness within the Elder Population in Zurich
In an ageing society affected by a care crisis and loneliness epidemic, the ability to ask for help is crucial. This study looks at ways in which design can empower elderly people in Zurich to ask for help and alleviate their loneliness. It shows that availability of help is not enough by itself, and that design can encourage the act of asking.
