Design students address housing shortage with viral "fake" TikTok account
Ten 5th semester Cast / Audiovisual Media students have produced a cross-platform multimedia project on the topic of "housing shortage and gentrification" in Zurich.
To draw attention to a documentary film about the reasons for the housing shortage in the city of Zurich, the ZHdK students tell the story of Lorena on TikTok, whose life is turned completely upside down after a rent increase. The videos reached more than 1.6 million views and generated 165,000 likes. Only: Lorena doesn't even exist.
