ZHdK diploma project NEUNOI featured on SRF
On the SRF news programme «10 vor 10», the diploma project NEUNOI from the Bachelor's Major in Industrial Design was featured in the section «Die Idee». The innovative children's shoe brand NEUNOI was created as part of the Diploma 2023 at the ZHdK. NEUNOI was developed by Thibaut Wenger and Narada Zürrer, who are very keen to get their project ready for the market.
NEUNOI is a subscription-based children's shoe brand. Instead of throwing away shoes that are too small or damaged, they are repaired and passed on to the next child. The SRF report shows how NEUNOI children's shoes meet the needs of both parents and children. While parents are particularly bothered by the fact that conventional children's shoes quickly become too small and wear out, children appreciate the attractive, colourful design of NEUNOI. The shoes also have a small pocket where children can keep and store their «secrets». The production takes place in a cobbler's workshop with protected workplaces in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
