Ein Stück mehr Wir
«Ein Stück mehr Wir» («A Little Bit More Us») is an audiovisual novel about 5p- (5p minus) syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. This Bachelor’s thesis provides insights into the factually and emotionally challenging diagnostic process from the parents’ point of view and presents selected types of supportive therapies for those affected. In addition to conveying information, raising awareness and educating about the condition, this project aims to show life with 5p- syndrome in a more positive and encouraging light. Although the protagonists in the project are fictional, the narrative is based on real-life experiences, the latest research and the results of extensive conversations with affected families.
