Make me a man

“Make me a man” is an editorial project that explores the construction of femininity in Tamil culture. It examines how religious narratives, mythological figures and patriarchal structures shape and perpetuate female roles into the present day. The project also focuses on how these representations are being questioned, reinterpreted and visually renegotiated today, particularly within the Tamil diaspora. Research, book design and photography come together in a feminist engagement with culture, identity and social norms.
